The Green Party has indicated that it will not be seeking to re-route the M3 motorway away from the Hill of Tara during the next five years... [Eamon] Ryan said the decision to construct the motorway alongside the Hill of Tara was a decision of the last Government and "this is a new Government".
From here.

Yes, Eamon, that makes sense... Or no, it doesn't actually. Brilliant. Double plus bad, or some such...
It also appears that Ryan will have a role through the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources of overseeing the Corrib gas project. Considering his past role in the Shell to Sea campaign, this will be interesting to say the least (or maybe depressing is the word I'm looking for).

Depressing, definitely depressing...
Couldn't Eamon find a way to divert some of that tarmac to South Kerry?
